Vitra Design Museum’s educational program consists of activities for adults, teenagers and children. These provide access to design and architectural themes, taking into account the different needs of each target group. In a practically-oriented manner, the courses offer insights into design processes and the challenges involved, which call upon attendees to think rationally, work imaginatively and display manual dexterity.

The goal is to instill a consciousness in regard to our everyday culture, and to incite participants to interact creatively with the designed environment. The educational department offers several activities in Weil am Rhein and 7-10-day design workshops held at Boisbuchet, an idyllic country estate in the southwest of France.
