David Chipperfield – Revisiting Modernism / TALK (EN)

David Chipperfield’s buildings are timelessly elegant with a strong connection to their architectural environment and historical references. His activities as an author and exhibition creator have also had an important influence on contemporary architecture. In 2012, he curated a highly regarded edition of the Venice Architecture Biennale under the title »Common Ground«. As a member of the jury for the reconstruction of the Masters’ Houses at the Dessau Bauhaus, Chipperfield joined the intensive debates on the history and future of the Bauhaus.
