Special Days

An ever-changing programme of themed interactive events invites you and your family to discover the exhibitions at the Vitra Design Museum and the Vitra Schaudepot. Together, you can explore the colourful world of design and develop new creative skills in our hands-on workshops. To replenish your strength, the Depot Deli offers refreshments matching the theme of the day.

Vitra Design Museum
On your marks, get set, go! Which shoe will help you run the fastest and why? How are sports shoes designed for the world's top athletes? Discover the journey of a sneaker, from the initial sketches to the final product, on an exciting guided tour of the »Nike: Form Follows Motion« exhibition. You can spend the day creating your own 3D sneaker out of paper and designing it yourself—from the pattern to the choice of colour.  

Guided tour: € 10 per person (from age 13), no registration required    

Drop-in Workshop: € 5 per person, no booking required. Arrive or leave at any time.  

Exhibition tours are free for children under the age of 13.
