Fro m 20 March to 5 September 2021\, the exhibition »German Design 1949–198 9: Two Countries\, One History« will offer a comparative selection of des ign from East and West Germany and explore ideological and aesthetic diffe rences as well as parallels and interrelations between East and West. Exhi bits range from iconic pieces of furniture and lamps to graphic\, industri al\, and interior design to fashions\, textiles\, and personal ornaments. The exhibition is supported by the Federal Foreign Office.\n \n The exhibi tion »German Design« will be presented at the Kunstgewerbemuseum\, Staat liche Kunstsammlungen Dresden from 15 October 2021 to 20 February 2022.\n \n More information\n \n Key visual of the exhibtion: calculator »ET 33« \, Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs\, 1977\, small jug from the hotel tablewa re »Rationell«\, Margarete Jahny and Erich Müller\, 1970\, © Vitra Des ign Museum\, illustration: Daniel Streat\, Visual Fields DTSTART:20210320T000000 DTEND:20210906T000000 LOCATION:Vitra Design Museum SUMMARY:Ausstellung - German Design 1949–1989 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
