The furnishings on display in the Schaudepot are made from a diverse range of materials. Some are made of wood or metal, while others are manufactured from old clothing or 3D-printed plastics. To explore more deeply the wealth and variety of the «24 Stops» along the Rehberger-Weg and their surroundings, we are offering a series of themed tours led by experts in German. Start: 4pm, alternately from the Fondation Beyeler or Vitra Campus, duration: 2 hours, price: CHF 10.- / EUR 10.- per person. The price includes a shuttle bus back to the starting point. Our Expert Tours take place whatever the weather. Bookings can be made and tickets purchased for tours as from February.

The pleasures of walking the Rehberger-Weg naturally include its artworks and grapevines, physical exercise and museums. But if we look upwards and gaze out into the distance, we can savor a further delight: the elevation gained by climbing a few extra meters up into the vineyards allows us to see beyond the rooftops and enjoy a magnificent panorama of the Basel landscape. This area around the bend in the Rhine is special in many respects—geographically, economically and politically, as well as geologically and topographically. From here we gain a new sense of boundlessness, since the national borders can barely be read in the face of the city and countryside. More information
