The required materials are inexpensive and accessible, making good design affordable for all.
Led by our instructor, you will build your own Weil Chair based on a design created by Le-Mentzel for the workshop at the Vitra Design Museum.
Please remember to arrange for taking your new chair home after the end of the workshop.

DROP-IN WORKSHOP
Sunday | 26 October 2025 and 8 February 2026
11 am–3 pm, Vitra Design Museum
Be it a great collection or an iconic piece of clothing, every fashion creation starts life as a sketch, usually on paper. »Fashion Lines« explores sketching and illustration as visual art forms. Whether the designer uses dynamic lines, pencilled hatching, or expressive brushstrokes, a fashion sketch is far more than a mere technical drawing. Sketches express the designer’s creativity, vision, and personality; they reflect emotions, trends, and design ideas.
Join our drop-in workshop, dive into the world of fashion illustration, and discover the fabulous art of sketching!
